'Backyard Camping'

As a kid growing up I can always remember those crazy nights of camping in my parent's backyard. Staying up late eating a bunch of junk food and drinking a thousand sodas! So I was thinking the other day that I bet camping in my backyard will still be just as fun and I decided to host and ‘Backyard Camping’ party!

I am hoping to make this an annual thing that I will host at my house. There is no agenda for the party because we are just going to wing it this first year. There will opportunities to cook s’mores, learn how to start to a fire, start a fire, sleep in a tent (you can sleep inside my house if you want), tell ghost stories, cook campfire food, pumpkin carving, music, and lots of fun games.

There is no camping experience required to attend the party because this is probably going to be the easiest form of camping that you have ever done! All you need to bring to the event is a positive attitude, some warm clothes, sleeping bag (or blankets), and 2 sticks to help start a fire!
